This 11 x 14 inch screenprint is of an original Logan Schmitt illustration featuring a rather small Northern Saw-whet Owl perched atop a rather large raccoon skull. Printed on a 100 lb cover weight Cougar Natural paper which is acid free and archival. This is an open edition print. Each print is hand signed by me and printed by my friends at Upright Press in Columbus, Ohio. Each print is individually packaged in a clear plastic sleeve with a 4ply white backer and information card.

Logan Schmitt is an illustrator who grew up by the woods in Wheeling, West Virginia. His fascination with nature and the small places of the forest are ever-present in his work and are a continual source of inspiration. Stylistically, he uses lots of lines and flat colors to present animals and other natural elements in an otherworldly light. He has an appreciation for and training in traditional print-making, resulting in the majority of his work being screenprinted. When he isn’t drawing, you can find him somewhere in the woods or down by the creek.
