Reserved for groups of 4-8. In this class, you will learn about the process to rehydrate, pin, and mount butterflies and moths, build your own domed diorama, and apply a butterfly to your scene. There are a variety of butterflies to choose from.

About the event
Do you have a group of 4-8 and want to take a group class together? This is the workshop for you!
In this class, you will create a nature diorama utilizing a variety of natural resources. Materials to work with include 1 base and glass dome, 2-3 crystals, 1 butterfly, and unlimited preserved moss, dried flowers and foliage. You will learn about the process to rehydrate and pin butterflies and moths, build your own domed diorama, and at the end, you will apply a butterfly to your diorama. There will be a variety of butterflies to choose from. You will take home a fully crafted diorama with butterfly as well as your pinned butterfly from class to mount later.
